Salone Margherita
The Salone Margherita in Naples, nestled beneath the majestic Galleria Umberto I, is a venue that embodies over a century of history, charm, and sophistication. Created at the end of the 19th century by the Marino brothers of Naples as a café-chantant inspired by the Parisian model, it quickly became one of the city’s cultural and social landmarks, hosting variety shows, music, and performing arts that defined an era.
The Salone still preserves its original spirit today: an architectural jewel with elegant interiors, stuccoes, and Liberty-style decorations that reflect the taste and luxury of the fin de siècle. Today, this extraordinary setting continues to thrive as a space for events and performances, offering a timeless atmosphere where history, art, and beauty intertwine, giving visitors an authentically Neapolitan experience that is both refined and vibrant.
