TBD Eyewear unveils two new styles for 2027

At DaTE 2026, TBD Eyewear offers an exclusive first look at two new styles from its 2027 collection, each expressing a distinct interpretation of contemporary design.

The first is a lightweight, essential rimless design defined by a hexagonal silhouette, where minimal construction allows the purity of the shape to take centre stage. It features 4 mm lenses with polished edges, temples that reinterpret TBD Eyewear’s signature herringbone motif, and custom TBD nose pads. The design draws inspiration from a vintage frame discovered by founder Fabio Attanasio at a Los Angeles flea market, reimagined through the distinctive identity of TBD Eyewear.

The second addition joins Accademia, TBD Eyewear’s most exclusive line. Mineral glass lenses, laser-grip detailing, tailoring-inspired elements such as the signature thimble, and precision craftsmanship define the frame. Its most distinctive feature, however, lies within the temples: custom metal cores designed by TBD Eyewear as a tribute to Milan. Their form and texture draw inspiration from the spires of the Duomo, transforming one of the city’s most recognisable symbols into a refined design detail.

Two new creations offering a first glimpse into 2027, where design research, culture and Italian craftsmanship come together.
