Something new... or rather, something old!

Interpretations of the past for new visions

The Neapolitan brand Good's will present its new BAUHAUS collection at DaTE 2025, inspired by a synthesis of its two previous collections, Architecture and Font, paying tribute to architecture and typography.

All Good's collections are inspired and guided by a passion for history, art and architecture, with the aim of telling the story of an Italian artisan product that sets us apart from everyone else in the world, thanks to its style and refinement that defies time and fashion, retaining its elegant appearance over the years.

BAUHAUS is inspired by the school of architecture, art and design founded in 1919 by German architect Walter Gropius. Based on principles of collaboration between teachers and students, it aimed to create cultural unity, overcoming the ancient antagonism between artist and craftsman, with the aim of creating functional products of high aesthetic value for mass society.

The glasses designed for this line are inspired by architects and designers belonging to the Bauhaus, retracing the design lines of the modern movement based on simplicity and linearity of form, free from any excessive decoration and ends in itself.

There are seven models: three are named after architects belonging to the school – Gropius, Breuer, Alma – and four take their names and shapes from four Bauhaus-related typefaces – Universal, Ronda, Avant Garde, Architype.

All the glasses are made entirely in Italy in limited editions - 90 pieces per colour - and all the frames are made from M49 Mazzucchelli bio acetate, which is entirely recyclable and biodegradable. The exclusive colours of the lenses are created according to the creative design for both the colours and the shape of the lenses. It is not just about colour, but about ideas, in the firm belief that the aim is to choose without compromise because art is beyond representation.
